What you'll do
Responsibilities
This position is located at Cumberland Campus, in the Northen Region, at the Springhill and Amherst sites. As the Academic Chair for the School of Access, Business, Creative Industries and Education and School of Health and Human Services, you will:
Lead the delivery of Academic Upgrading, and Health and Human Services, programs at the Campus ensuring the highest standard of quality and consistency in programing while supporting student success. You will also be responsible for overseeing an Early Childhood Education program delivered via NSCC's e-Campus.
In addition to responsibility for academic programming, you will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the daycare center at the Springhill Campus.
Be a key member of both Campus and School teams. Campuses and Schools share accountability for ensuring a quality-learning environment and a cohesive campus team.
