Accountant

GL events Middle East is looking for an accountant dedicated to payables. The accountant will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process in a fast‑paced and high‑volume environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial records while maintaining compliance with internal controls and company policies.

• Handle high volumes of vendor invoices and transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures
• Prepare payment runs and monitor due dates to ensure timely payments
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
