The successful applicant will report to the Group Senior Accountant.

Job Description Perform daily and monthly financial processing Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger Bookkeeping up to Trial Balance Calculate VAT payable/refundable and submit VAT returns to SARS Perform VAT reconciliations Review debtors and creditors reconciliations Complete balance sheet account reconciliations Analyse financial records and transactions Monitor and supervise clerical accounting staff Provide support and training to administrative employees, assisting with queries and daily operational matters Assist external auditors with year-end queries Bill expenses across group entities Prepare journal entries (daily, ad hoc, and month-end) and support the month-end close process Assist with budget and forecast preparation Maintain the fixed asset register and manage capex project accounting Review wage payroll Participate in stock counts Prepare monthly and ad hoc ma...
