Description Part-Time Accountant
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant for an indefinite contract opportunity. This role is expected to work 10–20 hours per week. The position will support daily accounting operations with a focus on check processing, deposits, cash applications, and light general ledger work. This opening is a refill for a function previously handled by an administrative team member who is transitioning to support a different internal team.
Job Duties:
Scan, process, and deposit approximately 50–100 checks per week
Handle cash applications, deposits, and bank runs
Prepare journal entries
Assist with general ledger activities
Maintain accurate financial records with a high level of attention to detail
Use accounting and business systems to support daily transaction processing
Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook
