OVERVIEW
This role works closely with the Assistant Controller and other departments to contribute to the company’s financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a family-owned business environment.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Assist with completing month-end procedures and reconciliations for inventory, deferred revenue, accruals, overhead, etc. together with the existing team in a very efficient and timely manner.
Assist with reviewing financial results of individual companies monthly.
Analyzes development projects from a financial perspective along with the Assistant Controller.
Analyzes specific job results by revenue type, (e.g., overall margins on large supply jobs), ensuring we reach our target margins.
