Accounting Technician

Novack CPA is a boutique Ontario practice serving incorporated professionals and owner-managed businesses. We work on complex files with direct partner involvement on every engagement. We are not a volume shop, and we don't pretend to be one.

We are hiring a full-time Accounting Technician to take ownership of compilation engagements, year-end bookkeeping, and corporate and personal tax preparation. This is a hands‑on file‑completion role reporting directly to the Managing Partner.

What you’ll actually do

• Prepare CaseWare Desktop compilation files end‑to‑end, including trial balance import, working papers, GIFI mapping, and draft financial statements.
• Complete year‑end bookkeeping cleanup in QuickBooks Online and Xero, including HST reconciliation, payroll true‑ups, and adjusting entries.
