Role Summary
As Assistant Accountant, you will support the Accountant for our Specialised Products department with multiple tasks, as required in accordance with Company procedures.

What you will be doing
Preparation of Month End reporting. 

Review contract/spot negotiations, FOB 

Daily fixture book to MD 

Reconciling 3rd party accounts
Check Shipbroker recaps (contract) to ensure accurate fixture creation in GAIN
Check owners/charters invoices for accuracy prior to creating invoices in GAIN

Review freight payments and associated paperwork

Cover treasury and credit control role.

Cover multicurrency cashbook maintenance/bank reconciliations. 

Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
