Sheridan Maine are working with a global business based in Newbury who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, primary duties of the role include:

  1. Checking payments and allocating to accounts
  2. Dealing with invoice and payment queries
  3. Monitoring aged debt and undertaking credit control duties
  4. Performing account reconciliations
  5. Producing management reports
  6. Setting up new customers on to the accounting system
  7. Assessing customer account limits and performing credit checks

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience (accounts receivable/ credit control) or someone looking for a company that can provide training and study support for AAT. The successful candidate will be hard working and reliable, a good team player and enthusiastic. It is essential to be a team player and have good excel skills.
