Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable Specialist owns the full‑cycle AR process with precision and efficiency, supporting cash flow and customer relationships across Sales, Customer Service and Finance. This hybrid role (2 days per week in office, remaining remote) is based in Vancouver, BC.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end AR processes in line with company policies, deadlines and accounting standards.
- Proactively manage aging reports, pursue past‑due accounts, follow up on payment commitments and handle delinquent accounts using strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Assist with month‑end closing by finalizing AR, posting adjustments and reconciling the AR subledger to the general ledger.
