Overview

Position summary: At Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) and Kamloops Mental Health and Substance Use (KMHSU), you will serve as an integral part of the addictions treatment team. Here, you will apply your expertise and compassion to help navigate addiction, transforming lives through individualized care and support. As an addictions psychiatrist, you will work with individuals and families facing addiction across inpatient, outpatient, community-based and concurrent disorder programs. Ensuring culturally-safe, equitable access to mental health and addictions support is a top priority.

Within our interdisciplinary team, your expertise will be crucial. You will engage in thorough psychiatric assessments, spearhead the crafting and application of sophisticated treatment strategies, and execute vital psychosocial interventions.
