Additions to Reserve Coordinator
The Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory (WUT) Department of Lands and Natural Resources (DLNR) is seeking applications for the position of Additions to Reserve Coordinator under the direction of the Director of Lands & Natural Resources. The coordinator will manage all aspects of the process to add Settlement Agreement and/or Acquired Lands to Wiikwemkoong under Canada’s Additions to Reserve Policy. Responsibilities are flexible and may be adjusted according to experience and community needs and priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in coordination of activities related to preparation of implementation of the ATR process for the Wiikwemkoong Islands Claim.
- Liaise with the Environmental Firm Consultant and Surveying firm on all activities pertaining to the Environmental Site Assessment Phase III work and surveying of the Islands and/or Fee Simple lands.
