We are looking to recruit an Advanced Phlebotomist to expand our team. Working across Basildon, Thurrock University Hospital, Southend University Hospital and other local community clinics throughout South Essex. 

Main duties of the job

·Delivering safe and professional blood sample collection, following infection control and sample identification protocols.

·Working across hospital wards, outpatient clinics, and community settings.

·Providing reassurance and care to all patients, maintaining dignity and professionalism.

·Labelling, handling, and dispatching specimens accurately in line with procedures.

·Maintaining accurate records and documentation (manual and electronic).

·Using appropriate PPE and adhering to health and safety and infection prevention standards.
