Air Conditioning Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join the Port Elizabeth team, Install split, cassette, ducted, VRV/VRF, package units, and other HVAC systems Perform piping, brazing, pressure testing, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging Install electrical control wiring and associated equipment Ensure installations comply with SANS standards and manufacturer's specifications Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance Clean and replace filters, coils, fans, and other components Inspect systems for performance, efficiency, and potential failures Maintain accurate maintenance records Diagnose faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems Repair or replace defective components including compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, and control systems Perform leak detection and refrigerant recovery procedures Test and commission completed repairs Requirements Grade 12 HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning Qualification Refrigerant Handling Certific...
