Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1635000 and is part of the IL 126, National Guard. Responsibilities As a AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-8602-5/8/10, you will certify acceptable performance, test, repair, trouble-shoot, operationally check and modify aircraft turbine and auxiliary power units, and associated propulsion system components. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Troubleshoot malfunctioning engines and interrelated propulsion system components, determines degree of disassembly or certification required, repairs or replaces defective components, diagnostic computers and associated hardware.
