In this exciting position, you’ll report on the intersection of politics and climate in Alberta. You will create 2-3 compelling stories weekly, engage with diverse contacts, and cover breaking news. Travel within Alberta is expected, providing opportunities to document events firsthand while ensuring ethical journalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report 2-3 stories weekly with accuracy and engagement
• Develop contacts within provincial government for insightful reporting
• Cover breaking climate news, including disasters and court rulings
• Travel across Alberta to gather firsthand content
• Experiment with modern storytelling techniques online
Requirements:
• Strong English writing and reporting skills
• Minimum three years of reporting experience in relevant fields
