Cardiac Surgery NP/PA and Step-Down opening Äì Hartford, CT Position Details FT, permanent position Inpatient cardiac surgery position Open to Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners Either nights (preferred) or day/night rotating 3 x 13-hour night shifts Permanent night positions available Premium night and weekend differentials offered No call Practice locations include ICU, step-down, and floor settings Patient population includes advanced cardiac surgery cases Responsibilities include: Preoperative and postoperative management of cardiac surgery patients Bedside procedures including central venous lines, arterial lines, and intra-aortic balloon pump removal Management of patients undergoing advanced therapies such as: Heart transplantation ECMO Mechanical circulatory support Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) Comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care planning Multidisciplinary collaboration to support optimal patient ...
