Anaesthesia

The Anesthesiologist is responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and effective pain management throughout the perioperative period. The anesthesiologist collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations including medical history, physical examination, and assessment of diagnostic data. Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to each patients needs and surgical procedure. Administer general, regional, local, or monitored anesthesia care (MAC). Monitor patients vital signs and anesthetic depth during procedures, adjusting as necessary. Manage airway and provide life support during procedures when required.
