AO4 Finance Officer

Public Sector People is seeking up to four experienced Finance Officers for a long-term contract opportunity with a QLD State Government Department based in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a two-year contract (03/08/2026 – 02/08/2028) paying $60.06 per hour plus superannuation - and it's a genuinely unique role for finance professionals who've worked at the intersection of numbers and projects.

The Role

You'll join a finance team embedded in the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across the region, working directly alongside Project Managers to keep approximately 500 active projects financially on track. This isn't a back-office finance role - you'll be close to the action, building strong working relationships with project delivery teams and providing advice that directly influences outcomes on the ground.
