AP Clerk

Our distribution client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their finance team near Ayr, ON. Reporting to the Controller, you'll be responsible for handling full-cycle accounts payable while working closely with the finance team on a variety of day-to-day accounting activities. 

 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ownership of full-cycle bookkeeping; including AP and AR
  
• Manage the full-cycle AP, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs
  
• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and goods receipt documentation, and resolve discrepancies
  
• Verify, code, and process non-PO invoices
  
• Record invoices and payments accurately in the accounting system
  
• Maintain vendor records and respond to invoice and payment inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders
