About the job Application Support Engineer (DevOps)
- 2+ years application and platform support experience in an IT environment
- BTech Degree - advantageous
- National Diploma: Information Technology (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Application and platform support in a DevOps environment
- Provide end to end support for client application and website, including DXL and cloud platform support
- Monitoring of alerts and dashboards to proactively respond to any incidents or outages
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level investigations to all incidents logged to the team
- Incident and change management using Jira and Remedy
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Kibana, Prometheus, OpsGenie
- Linux OS knowledge
- AWS, Docker and Kubernetes knowledge advantageous
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
