Apprentice Power Network Craftsperson

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Power Network Craftsperson based in Ossett . This 36‑month apprenticeship is designed to develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and strong safety culture required to become a fully competent craftsperson working on high‑voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure up to 33kV.

During the programme, you will gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of HV environments while working alongside experienced professionals. You will also complete recognised power engineering qualifications through structured training and block‑release study at UCT Manchester , supporting your development into a critical role within the UK’s electrical power network.

Reporting to the Operations Manager , you will play an important part in supporting the safe construction, maintenance and repair of electrical assets, helping to ensure a reliable and secure supply of electricity.
