Aqueduct Operations Operative (Pontcysyllte Aqueduct) Purpose of the Role To deliver the safe, controlled, and efficient movement of powered and unpowered boating traffic across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct by actively managing navigation, enforcing safety requirements, and providing a high-quality experience for boaters and visitors. This role will operate in designated hours of peak demand. Reporting to the local Operational Team the role will be supported by on-site Trust colleagues at Trevor Basin and will be an important part not only in reinforcing safety at the site but also in reinforcing visitor experience and thereby promoting this important World Heritage Site.
