This role combines responsibilities of the Area Business Engineer (ABE) and Performance Engineer. The role of the ABE is to ensure production plans are optimized and scheduled to maximize profit and minimize losses for the Area Business Team (ABT). The ABE interfaces with Supply Chain and serves as a key interface between the plant and the business supply strategy. As Performance Engineer, this role will also use technical problem-solving skills to evaluate the performance of the ABT and to propose, develop and implement improvement solutions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as a technical expert at the facility and provide coaching to others within the ABT.
+ Ensure daily and weekly KPI’s are entered and any red/off target metric has a plan to close the gap.
