Assembler Welder (ALP45) – Temporary – Gauteng, Nigel

Position: Temporary assembly welder in Alstom Ubunye, located in Nigel, Gauteng. The role supports railway applications by welding sub‑assemblies and frame structures.

Main Responsibilities Welding components, sub‑assemblies, frames and necessary welds of the structure following WPS standards, instructions and respecting quality, cost and delay defined in the manufacturing process. Positioning, tack welding and welding brackets on sub‑assemblies and frames. Using work‑orders from the workshop network to track activity and input activity data. Selecting the appropriate welding equipment in relation to the instruction sheet. Adjusting parameters of the welding workstation (intensity, tension) according to the WPS of the instruction sheet.
