Assembly technician

KEY PURPOSE OF JOB

The Assembly Technician is responsible for the precise and high-quality assembly of electronic and mechanical components used in satellite systems. This includes cleanroom operations, PCB population, harness assembly, and final product packaging, all carried out to the highest space-industry standards. The technician will play a key role in ensuring product integrity, traceability, and compliance with rigorous quality processes.

KEY TASKS Day-to-day operations within the cleanroom assembly environment Population and hand‑soldering of PCBs to high-reliability space standards Assembly and repairs of pc boards, and integration of mechanical components into chassis. Application of glues, thermal compounds, and conformal coatings. Operation of tools and equipment including curing ovens, vacuum tanks, solder pots, and crimping tools.
