Assistant Accountant

I am working with a thriving national business based in Blackburn who are now looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis. This is a newly created position which has been created due to continued growth within the business.

Your new role

As Assistant Accountant, you will manage thepany cashbook and petty cash, reconcilepany bank accounts. You will process and deal with all debtors and creditors, ensuring transactions are valid and reconciled, maintain thepany's fixed asset register, processing prepayments, accruals, VAT, supplier reconciliations and bank reconciliations. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager, where you will gain further exposure to management accounting. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday and fully based on-site.
