Our client, a well‑established organisation based in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team. The Role
Working as part of a busy finance function, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining robust accounting controls. You’ll support both monthly and annual reporting cycles and work closely with colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post monthly journals including depreciation, leasing, rent, rates, utilities, bank transfers and fixed asset movements
*
Assist with monthly management accounts and internal reporting
*
Maintain accurate schedules for fixed and leased assets, including reconciliation to ledger accounts
*
