Job Summary
The role of the assistant accountant is responsible for accurate and timely recording of daily financial transactions into the general ledger.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Handle day‑to‑day accounting (AR, AP, Inventory, GL) and treasury related functions (cash management operation activities) of the company. Ensure financial transactions recorded are following IFRS and Yara policy
- Responsible for all month‑end and year end activities (monthly journals, schedules, and rec‑onciliations) and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to HQ
- Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for the upgrading of SAP ECC to SAP S4 Hana
- Ensure that the internal control processes are being followed and are in line with Yara policy
