As an Assistant Accounts Manager at BSM , you will be responsible for controlling the efficient accounting operation of the SMC and handling all accounting activities to ensure compliance with local tax and accounting legislation and standards. You will oversee ledger accounts and ensure the accounting department operates under relevant procedures and processes of BSM.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews all ship-owner financial statements and other accounting reports, ensuring they are timely and accurately prepared in accordance with relevant client contracts and agreements, to maintain compliance with accounting procedures, obligations, and flag ownership legislation.
• Reviews monthly technical variance reports and cash position statements for vessels under SMC’s management, and handles the prompt settlement of all vessel-related accounts/payments (e.g., invoices, crew payroll), supporting smooth ves...
