The Municipal Services Office (MSO) was set up in Oct 2014 to improve the coordination, delivery and quality of municipal services by Government and Town Councils. These services include the upkeep and improvement of common areas in public and private estates, and the upgrading or provision of facilities and infrastructure.The next bound of municipal service delivery involves:i. ramping up of forward intelligence capabilities to enable foresight planning and support the development of pre-emptive operations;ii. deploying data focused tools (e.g. dashboards and regular data reports) to increase the productivity of officers across the municipal sector and to support them in making data-driven policy decisions;iii. humanising the digitalisation of government services (e.g. OneService Chatbot) for an optimised, resident-centric experience.
