Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion and SENDCo

Weare looking for a person who:

• Is a champion for all pupils andan advocate for an inclusive, equitable and values-driven education
• Has experience of, or a strongunderstanding of, working in a diverse urban community
• Embeds high expectations for alllearners, particularly those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable
• Will champion adaptive teachingand evidence-informed practice to ensure consistency and excellence inclassroom provision
• Will lead and oversee the qualityof inclusion, SEND and pastoral systems, ensuring that provision hasclear impact on pupil outcomes
• Has the expertise to fulfil thestatutory responsibilities of SENDCo in line with the SEND Code ofPractice
• Will lead high-quality systemsfor behaviour and culture, promoting positive relationships and a strongsense of belonging
