Assistant Manager - Tax

Our client, a growing accountancy firm in London would like to hire a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, deliver high-quality advisory work, and mentor junior staff within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Working closely with the leadership team at the firm, you will handle a blend of personal and corporate tax matters, predominantly focusing on owner‑managed businesses (OMBs), SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of mixed tax clients, ensuring compliance and offering proactive tax planning.
• Compliance: Prepare / review complex personal tax returns, corporation tax computations, P11Ds, and ATED returns prepared by seniors and trainees.
