Job Summary
The Assistant Resident Engineer will work with AECOMs construction supervision discipline engineers independently or under the direction of the Resident Engineer advising on all engineering matters related to roads construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve Contractors technical submittals including shop drawings method statements and materials as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
- Oversee Inspectors daily activities review their reports and provide guidance on the supervision of the Contractors operations.
- Coordinate with Contractors supervisory personnel regarding schedule sequence and method of work.
- Monitor project progress identify potential delays and recommend recovery actions.
- Ensure high quality of works during the construction period strict compliance with the Employers Requirements Project Specifications and Safety Requirements.
