Position Summary
BCIT’s Student Success department is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Associate Director, Student Wellbeing & Accessibility. This positions provides strategic direction to development and delivery of student wellbeing and accessibility across the Institute, including student health, counselling, development, disability resources, and other related services. Responsible for oversight of the legal duty to accommodate students. Establishes the Institute’s vision for all areas of accountability, and develops related strategies, plans, policies, practices, standards, and processes. Implements the necessary controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and legal obligations.
