Landfill Management and Operations Department (LMOD) oversee Tuas Marine Transfer Station and Semakau Landfill which is Singapore’s only landfill for waste disposal.[What you will be working on]
The job description of an AEM at Tuas Marine Transfer Station (TMTS) and Semakau Landfill (SL) are as follows:
To assist the engineer in overseeing and ensuring safe waste receiving operations at TMTS & SL slipways
To coordinate operational and safety matters with TMTS/SL stakeholders to ensure operations at TMTS/SL such as landfill, O&M of M&E equipment, O&M of tugs & barges (T&B) are conducted according to plan.
To supervise contractors in carrying out the work/services on site. Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and do not disrupt operations. Attend to any maintenance or repair works to ensure that it is completed within the set timeline.
