About the Role
We’re recruiting an Autism Support Assistant for a Sunderland primary school with a well-established nurture provision. You’ll be joining a supportive team focused on communication, sensory understanding, and calm, predictable routines.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting autistic pupils with communication and sensory needs
Preparing visual supports and using structured teaching methods
Creating low-pressure learning environments that help pupils thrive
Working closely with teachers, therapists and parents
