Automotive Mechanical Project Leader

Job Description

The Mechanical Project Leader coordinates all project component related tasks and activities from start of development until end-of-production. Manage communication between internal/external stakeholders. Capable of leading projects of medium to high complexity. Acts as a technical counterpart to the Project Manager and is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing global multi-disciplinary engineering activities to achieve project success. Responsible for making sure the technical team understands and fulfills the customer and internal requirements on specification, on schedule and on budget.

• Will be responsible for coordinating cross functional engineering teams to achieve project goals during the project life cycle. ME-PL leads the support teams(e.g. purchasing, production plant project leader, mechanical design engineer, testing engineer) within the project execution, on topics related to mechanical topics.
