Azure data platform engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support the development, maintenance and optimisation of enterprise data platforms and solutions within an Azure Cloud environment.

Key Requirements Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Stored Procedures and SSIS. Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud services and infrastructure management. Proficiency in Git version control. Python experience is advantageous. Experience supporting production environments and resolving incidents. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Platform Support Provision and manage Azure resources, including VMs, storage, networking and integration runtimes. Monitor platform performance, availability, security and compliance. Manage access controls, security configurations, backups and disaster recovery processes.
