What You Will Be Doing Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services that interact with SQL Server. 
Design and run batch processing workflows for syncing/updating large sets of records. 
Ensure processing is reliable at scale (incremental runs, safe reprocessing, handling partial failures, concurrency). 
Troubleshoot end-to-end issues across API batch job database, improving performance and stability. 
What You Will Likely Bring Hands‑on experience building APIs (auth, error handling, JSON). 
Experience with batch jobs / background processing (scheduled runs, retries, handling failures). 
Strong SQL fundamentals (writing queries, understanding stored procedures, performance awareness). 
What Could Set You Apart Professional experience in DevOps, or automation‑focused roles. 
Azure SQL.
