Band 4 Social Work Assistant

MPA are currently recruiting for Band 4 Social Work assistant to join our experienced team in the Ballymena area. The role is to provide ongoing assessment and support in community settings. This is an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in a rapidly growing sector.

Job Duties

· Take responsibility for the procuring and securing of services i.e. Packages of care /
Direct Payments / Short Breaks.

· Undertake direct work with service users as directed by the Social Work Team Manager, Senior Social Work Practitioner or Social Worker in keeping with any support/protection/care plan and in their cases.

· Reporting of information to colleagues on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as required

· Support carers and identify need through completion of carer assessments and carer assessment reviews.

· Assist Team Manager in the monthly validation of independent service provision.
