Band 6 - Senior M&E Technician - Moorfields

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust (MEH) are searching for a passionate and driven Band 6 Senior M&E Technician to join their highly skilled team.

MEH is a specialist National Health Service (NHS) eye hospital in Finsbury, run by Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust together with the UCLH Institute of Ophthalmology which is adjacent to the hospital, it is the oldest and largest centre for ophthalmic treatment, teaching and research in Europe.

The Role:

The role of the Senior M&E Technician is to support the Estates Hard FM Manager in ensuring Trusts electrical/mechanical equipment is maintained to statutory and mandatory standards, which will ensure a well maintained safe and secure environment for our patients, staff and visitors, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) engineering duties to include but not limited to:

• PPM planning
• Contracts and service delivery management
• Authorized person duties (medical gas PMGS, LV, ventil...
