Position Summary
The Banner DBA is responsible for the administration, maintenance, performance, security, and availability of the Ellucian Banner Student Information System and its supporting database environments.
Job PurposeThe role manages the installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, monitoring, backup, recovery, performance tuning, and security of Banner and associated Oracle and SQL Server databases. It also supports integrations, access management, disaster recovery, and system availability to ensure the reliable operation of critical institutional applications.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain the Ellucian Banner Student Information System and its supporting database environments.
