Viking Cruises is currently seeking a Junior Logistics Manager to join our Logistics team in Basel, Switzerland, supporting our Ocean and Expedition fleet.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal (procurement department) and external parties (freight forwarders, suppliers, and port agents) to ensure planning and deliveries are made in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the shipboard team and suppliers to ensure that all products needed for the operation are on board at all times.
- Follow up on service level issues with all vendors; invoices and credit notes registration and approval in cooperation with the accounting team.
- Support the ships in case of deviations, delayed deliveries, or emergency orders, including coordination with freight forwarder for redirection of cargo to ensure the ships have all the supplies they need.
