Job details Spherion Gainesville, FL has a local manufacturing client seeking a Battery Processing Technician. This is an essential role for maintaining and optimizing production equipment. This position will test, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Position Type: Temporary to Hire ... Location: Newberry, Florida
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 1st or 2nd Shift
1st Shift: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot/repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment (PLCs, power supplies, drives, gauges, test equipment).
- Manage daily troubleshooting of production floor equipment (calibration bays, rework areas, etc.).
- Plan/perform work using thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles.
- Install, start up, and shut down equipment per company safety/OSHA procedures....
