BD Lead

A leading geotechnical contractor is seeking a Business Development Lead to take ownership of business growth and project delivery across major infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors.

This is a high-impact role for someone who can identify opportunities, win work, and stay involved through delivery.

You will be responsible for developing new business, managing key client relationships, and leading tenders from strategy through to submission and negotiation. Working closely with technical teams, you will help deliver practical, commercially sound ground improvement solutions, while maintaining a strong pipeline and supporting complex or high-value projects.

The ideal person will have 10-15 years’ experience in civil/geotechnical engineering, strong expertise in ground improvement and soil mechanics, and a proven track record in winning work and managing clients. Strong commercial awareness across pricing, contracts, and risk is essential.
