ROLE PURPOSE:
- The black utility engineer ensures reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of black utilities and facilities systems that support pharmaceutical manufacturing. This includes daily monitoring, safe operation, first‑level troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of boilers, chillers, air compressors, diesel generators, switchgear, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, and associated systems.
Operation Duties
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance
- Conduct daily inspections, equipment rounds, and first‑level troubleshooting; execute minor repairs on shift
- Operate, monitor, and adjust Boiler, Chiller & Cooling Tower, Air Compressor, DG Set, Switchgear, and Wastewater Plant for stable parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, power quality, treatment performance)
