We're recruiting for a Boar Technician to join a unit in Northumberland, TD12.
Our client is a leading player in the UK's agricultural sector. They are dedicated to integrating traditional farming practices with modern, sustainable methods.
As a Boar Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of semen from boars, following strict animal welfare and hygiene procedures.
You will also help move approximately 200 pigs to and from the collection yard as part of the routine schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect semen from boars in accordance with set protocols
- Assist with preparing and maintaining the collection area
- Move pigs between housing units and the collection yard (requires physical stamina)
