Job Title: Body Sealing Design Engineer (entry level)
Job Description
This role focuses on the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of body sealing components and related BIW sealing, welding, and structural subassemblies. The engineer drives quality improvements, weight and cost reduction, and efficiency initiatives while supporting manufacturing plants with emerging issue resolution and communicating technical product status to cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the design, development, and release of BIW sealing, welding, and structural components and subassemblies, including parametric modeling using NX.
Develop detailed 3D models and engineering documentation to support body sealing component design and integration.
Collaborate with external suppliers, internal stamping plants, and vehicle plant body shops to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and materi...
