We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate BSL Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Sunderland this September.
This is a highly rewarding role supporting students with hearing impairments and additional needs, where communication, patience, and relationship-building are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support using BSL
- Support students with a range of additional needs (including ASD and SEMH)
- Adapt communication to meet individual learning styles
- Work closely with teachers and speech & language professionals
