BUDGET ANALYST

Summary The primary purpose of this position is to perform various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects. This project requires knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of budgeting. Performs quality checks of automated system database information and ensures funds control is audit compliant. Responsibilities Performs budget execution and formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses and estimates of annual funding needs for assigned organizations/programs into a consolidated budget request.
